Methods and Formulas

Create and manage the Forecasting Methods and Formulas to help you out with your business. 




Methods

Your custom created methods and formulas will appear here. Click +Add to start the process of creating a method and formula.  




You will need to type a name and select the formulas for the method before you can click Create Method to create a custom method. Optionally, you can type a description, select a methodology
  1. Apply Sequence
  2. Best Candidate
  3. Average,
select an Error Measure,
  1. MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error)
  2. WMAPE (Weighted Mean Absolute Percentage Error)
  3. WGHTD (Weighted)
  4. MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation)
  5. STD (Standard Deviation)
  6. HWGHTD (Weighted Fit and Forecast)
and select whether or not the method will Apply Sales Adjustments and/or Include Events. 





  1. Clicking Create Method will add the custom method under the Methods section. You can now use this method in Forecasting, and edit the method by selecting it, making changes, and clicking Save Method.
