Optimization

Optimization

Optimization within Supply Planner allows you to run Arkieva Classic LPs from Arkieva and view the resulting LP Quick Reports.

Note that the tenant needs to be configured so that it is tied to a specific Arkieva Classic application database.

To use this feature properly, you will need to perform the following:
  1. Ask helpdesk to configure a connection string to link your SaaS tenant with the Arkieva Classic application DB. This connection string key should be named “ConnectionStrings:arkieva-legacydb-lp-YOUR_TENANT_ID”
  2. Create a user in the Arkieva Classic application for the target database. You must use the same email address as your SaaS user
  3. Open the LP documents you wish to be visible in SaaS, and in the settings dialog click "Enabled in Saas"
If you are a developer running this locally, you can set the connection string in powershel yourself with the following command:

set-devlocalconfigvalue "ConnectionStrings:arkieva-legacydb-lp-TENANT_ID" "Server=sql2019-devsaas;Database=TCPL_Planning_Optimizer;User Id=arkieva_SQL2019-DevSaaS_sqluser;Password=Odid!Vb3ds*iO0TxYs!6gap*A6XcF;TrustServerCertificate=true"

Unpin Column

Pin a column to make all columns to the right of that column scrollable while freezing the pinned column and all columns to the left. Right-click the column and select Pin Column to Left.

  1. To unpin the column, right-click that column again and select Unpin Column.
