Planning Period

Planning Period

Change the period that is displayed by default within the system.

Change planning period start date

  1. To change the planning period start date, first selecting a beginning planning period from the dropdown.

  1. Then select a planning horizon strategy from the dropdown.

Change the amount of non-editable days after the planning period

  1. Type a value for the Frozen Days and toggle whether or not to use an extended supply.
  2. Use Extended Supply: Use a separate Excel file or Arkieva Enterprise (once toggled On, it cannot be reverted to Off)
  3. Use Auto Supply Data Deactivation: Decouple data import when toggled On
  4. Skip Post Processing: Decouple post process steps when toggled On

Use Extended Supply

For newly created tenants → Use Extended Supply should be ON by default.
When ON → cannot turn OFF(disable).
For existing tenants where it is NOT ON → The toggle should be visible so they can enable it.

Use Auto Supply Data Deactivation

Use Auto Supply Data Deactivation to enhance data integrity and planning accuracy by implementing logic to automatically inactivate static supply data records that are no longer being fed into Arkieva from the ERP system. This will prevent outdated or invalid records from being used in planning transactions, which can lead to incorrect decisions and system clutter over time.
