Publish: Discard and Import only 'Optimized' activities

When publishing an LP or DRP Result to the working scenario, you can select the activities to discard. This action applies only to activities (MO/PO/STO) in Orbit with TransactionType selected. Arkieva will not discard any other transactions.

The LP or DRP result includes the field "Activity_Type". Only those with activity_type = 'Optimized' will be added to the working scenario.




Publish LP Results to a Business Scenario 

Going to the optimization screen, you can use the "Publish" action to publish the LP results from the target scenario to the Business Scenario result comparison screen.

A result set will be created that can be included in the comparison analysis and result publishing features. The Material flow scenario name will be set to the LP scenario name, and a description will show that it was published from Optimization.

If you run the Business Scenario directly (it runs the official LP scenario), it automatically calls MaterialFlowPrepareResultTables on the Classic side, and a quick test you can perform is to run the business scenario, then go to the optimization screen and publish the official scenario from there. The results should be exactly the same.

These created scenarios will be visible in the "Compare Scenario" tab.

Discard and Import only 'Optimized' activities 

Required changes when publishing LP to working scenario (GUI below)
  1. When publishing an LP Result to the working scenario, user selects the activities to discard.  This action should apply only to activities (MO/PO/STO) in orbit with TransactionType selected by the user (same UI as MRP for discard).   We will not discard any other transactions.
  2. LP result include a field "Activity_Type".  Only those with activity_type = 'Optimized' should be added to the working scenario. Currently we import both planned results if the old ones were discarded, but we will no longer do this.
