S&OP Views Configuration

What are S&OP Views? 

A view describes the type of data that you want to see in the worksheet. Each type of data is displayed in a row. For the S&OP Worksheet, each row of the worksheet represents a Planning Object. The view describes the set of Planning Objects that are displayed in the worksheet. 

There are 5 default Views included with the application. Supply Demand Balance, Demand Breakdown, Demand Fulfillment, Supply, and Inventory Projection. 


Creating Views 

Admin users can create and manage the planning objects that are available in the S&OP worksheet from the Views Configuration section of the S&OP settings tab. 

      1. To create a new view, click the Create New View link located at the bottom of the Views Configuration window.  



      2. Select a name for the new view and click “Create View”.
  
      

      3. The Add Demand Type to View button will now be highlighted.

      

      4. Click Add Supply Type to View to launch the Supply Type dropdown. Select a Planning Object(s) by clicking it; it will be added to the Views table.

      

      5. The Views table will show the name of the Planning Object (Caption), the Type, and the Units. Repeat Step 4 to add additional Planning Objects to the View. 
      


Remove Supply Type from View

To remove a Supply Type from a View, click the Delete button, and select Confirm. 






View Ellipses button

Click the ellipses ... button next to the View name for additional option.
The default Views have the Duplicate option, which will clone the View and give you the ability to add or remove Supply Types from the cloned view.



Created Views have the Rename View, Duplicate View, and Delete View options.
