Flow
The Flow tab shows the flow of demand through your supply plan. Here you can check for Violations, view Affected Demand, and see any details connected with the different demand flow items.
View Violations
If you see an item with a warning sign, this means there is a violation attached to the item. You can click the View Violations button to launch a drawer showing an explanation of the violation.
Here you can see there is a Supply violation causing excess inventory to be produced. You can add a comment, go to where the violation is coming from to attempt to fix it, or click the Summarize button to use AI to offer possible solutions.
View Affected Demand
Clicking the View Affected Demand button allows you to view all details related to that Flow Item. The details shown will depend on the Flow Item.
- You can also view any violations from the View Affected Demand details.
- Click Go To to view and Fix the Violation.
- And you can evaluate items with a What If Scenario. Click the Evaluate link to launch the Evaluate window.
- Here you can change aspects and evaluate a What If Scenario. The results will show as Widgets in the window. If the What If is acceptable, you can click Accept and these changes will reflect in the planning worksheet.
View Stock
The View Stock button on flow nodes enables you to quickly navigate from a flow node directly to the corresponding stock view.
The View Stock action is available for Consumption, Production, and Transfer nodes through the node details or tooltip. When selected, the system automatically opens the stock view for the associated item-location, eliminating the need to manually locate the item-location within the Planning Worksheet tree structure.
For transfer nodes, planners can navigate to the relevant source or destination stock location to validate inventory availability and transfer impact. The navigation occurs without a full-page refresh and respects existing user access permissions.
This enhancement streamlines supply chain analysis workflows by reducing navigation effort, improving visibility into inventory positions, and enabling planners to investigate stock impacts directly from the Flow view.
View Stock Right-Click
You can navigate directly to the corresponding item-location stock view by right-clicking and hovering over View Stock. Then select whether to view in the current page or open in a new tab.
