Create New Transactions

Create transactions for Procurement, Production, Transfer, Demand, and Substitutions. Right-click a data attribute in the table and select Create Transactions.

Procurement

Create a Procurement transaction. Quantity, Period, and Purchase Type are all required; Name, Details, Contracts, Contract Status, and Supplier are optional. Click Create to finish.

Production

Create Production transactions. You can create a Fixed Length production transaction and a Use Cycle Times Production transaction.

  1. When creating an MO with Use Cycle Times, keep in mind that End Delivery on Target Date and Start Delivery on Target Date account for post-production delivery delay (max delay across operations). "End Delivery" back-schedules the MO so that last operation finish + delay = target date, while "Start Delivery" back-schedules so that last operation start + delay = target date. Both options are available in the Schedule Type dropdown on the Production tab when Use Cycle Times is selected.

Transfer

Lot Size and Lead Time are read-only fields in the Create Transaction dialog. Values are automatically populated based on the selected Item + Location.
If the Item or Location changes, the values refresh automatically. You cannot edit these values from the dialog.

Data Source
  1. Production Orders: Process Data (Lot Size, Minimum Run Size, Delay Time)
  2. Purchase Orders: Vendors by Stock (Lot Size, Minimum Lot Size, Lead Time)
  3. Transfer Orders: Transport Routes (Lot Size, Transit Time)
